Street
Street Dance is an umberella term which encompasses a huge range of movement styles from breaking, locking and popping to tutting, dancehall and waaking to name a few. It originated from African-American street culture in the late 1960s in New York and developed outside the studio in parties, nightclubs, streets and schoolyards. Our vibrant street classes explore lots of these styles while encouraging students to find their own styles and personalities.
