Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre is a performance based class combining singing, acting and dance. In this class students will learn various singing styles and vocal techniques. They will work on singing as part of a group including harmony work and acting through song. All students are encouraged to also sing solo. We link this with acting exercises working on role play, improvisation and performance. The dance and movement element we cover in this class is very much performance and style based, focusing on body awareness, posture and spacial awareness. Most importantly, we work on building the confidence of each and every student, which not only benefits their performance skills but also greatly improves confidence in lots of other aspects of learning and life!
